Feel the pressure in my neck
suffocation in the chest
Can't be seen; invisible tentacles here
"Can not sleep!" since I don't know when
I know what hurts, and I know well
But maybe i haven't accepted it yet
I hate my job and its bureaucracy
I feel like an insect more and more
And an echo's repeating (X2).... in my head
I don't know why I am thinking about the lions, and the gazelles, and the cheetas running free
I don't know why I am thinking about the nature, and the oceans, and the water, and the wind
I don't know why I am thinking about the cactus, and the flowers, and the trees.
System's made to evade this feeling
There's no fault if there's no liability
speech tries to make us the victims
But I have noticed thats not right
we are going to pay a very high price
but surf the wave, and press that button when requiered!
I hate my job and it's bureaucracy
I feel like an insect more and more
And an echo's repeating (X2).... in my head
I don't know why I am thinking about the lions, and the gazelles, and the cheetas running free
I don't know why I am thinking about the nature, and the oceans, and the flowers and the trees
I don't know why I am thinking about the cactus, and the flowers, and the trees.
I don't know why I am thinking about the lions hunting gazelles,
and the gazelles springting to live
But a lion bites a gazelle in the jugular and tightens with his claws
and the lion waits for the struggle and dispair to do their job
'till the gazelles just surrenders to let the flesh, and the blood, and the bones
become food
Food for the lions, food the cheetas, food for the vultures, and food for the hyenas
and food for the flies, the beetles and worms
and that dusty, and dirty body will feed the soil
and then a plant that grows
And a flower's eaten by a gazelle
and a lion's feeling hungriest one more time
Turbulent indie rock from Levi Fuller & the Library that has the snarl of hardcore and the knotty meter of math rock. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 13, 2018
